Today's work. After almost a couple of years, I finally tracked down the mock-up and measurements for a painting I did, and thought I'd have a go at painting it quite a bit larger. The first painting along these lines can be found here: [link] .
I always liked it, but it was a gift, so I can't keep it. That's why I was so keen to paint it again, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of having to re-work all the prep.  Lazy, hunh?Anyway, this is Noodle, my favourite character from my favourite cartoon band, Gorillaz. Noodle is the guitarist, and her singing voice is that of the lovely and talented Miho Hatori. The first version of this painting is quite small at 8" by 12", but this one is 14" by 22", watercolour and acrylic. You can't sell FanArt, so I'm keeping this one. The character Noodle is used here thanks to the kind courtesy of Mr. Hewlett. ^_^ |
