Veda

This is Veda - she's a Chow mix. My wife often babysits pets for friends, and Veda and her "sister" Nutmeg, an AmStaff, were amoung our favourites. Veda was pretty old, but she had an enchanting smile. When she got excited, she'd leave her back legs on the ground and stiffly bounce her front legs in the air.
Unfortunately, Veda passed away during the summer. We miss her terribly. This work, and its companion piece of Nutsy, were wedding gifts to their owners. 9" by 12", watercolour.
