Artist's Comments

The second in my series of endangered aquatic animals in space. :D I recommend the full view.

This is watercolour, 18" by 22". Pepper says I need to paint larger, so larger it is. ;)

If you believe it's impossible it will be impossible but once you believe there's a way the world will offer up it's powers to you.

:D Aw, thanks very much! I think the larger painting size makes it appear to be more detailed. This one's going to be a real whopper framed - 29" by 34"! That's pretty big for me. I've taken to matting them in black and painting stars on the black mat - they look kind of cool and different that way. Glad you like it! ^^

It's lovely to see them cruising round the sky ...instead of through the water! ....They look like space ships:D.....They are such amazing creatures:)

That's really neat! A manatee would look so cool in space. xD Maybe it's because the way you blended the colors, it makes it seem like a planet. x3

Sometimes we can be so anxious to provide our children with what we did not get in our childhood that we might forget to give them what we did get.

OMG i love it!!

Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

Thanks! The "planet" effect is probably a result of my decision to have a double light source - brightest on the top and light from the bottom -I thought it would make them look like they were "floating" more. :)
