This is :icondevynpuglover:'s pug, who has sadly passed away. I don't usually take requests, but I had a pug on my "to do for fun" list, and I really liked the reference photo of this little guy: [link] I went very close on the face because I really love the character in pug's faces - they're so sweet. ^_^

This is watercolour, 8" by 10"; today's work. Original not available.

Oh my gosh, the eyes are just so extremely expressive in this piece, I can feel my heart melting. I can't get over the softness and attentive look they bring, you did an amazing job.
I love the fur texture, especially on the top of the head, when I think of pugs I always think of that little spike they have to their fur-- it was really well pulled off here. :D
